Peachtree Housing Communities is proud to announce that
development will proceed on Evermore Senior Village (“Evermore”) in Snellville,
GA!! Evermore is a proposed 86 unit senior housing
development for those age fifty-five and older.
The property is located off Oakland Park Blvd in Snellville,
unincorporated Gwinnett County, GA. We believe that the development of Evermore
Senior Village will provide quality affordable housing to the senior residents
of Gwinnett County. Not only will
Evermore Senior Village provide the needed housing and economic boost, but it
will provide it in the most beneficial and desirable location. There are a multitude of shopping and dining
opportunities for the residents within a mile of Evermore Senior Village.
Evermore Senior Village will consist of one four-story
building with an elevator and 6 attached rowhouse/duplex units in an additional
building. As stated previously, our
residents will be age fifty-five and older and Evermore Senior Village will
have other amenities geared towards an aging population, such as: a community room for community events, a
fitness center with low impact exercise equipment appropriate for an aging
population, a fully equipped computer center, a centralized laundry facility, a
covered pavilion with a bbq area, a fenced community garden, a covered patio
and sitting areas throughout the interior common space of the building for our
residents to rest and socialize.
Furthermore, Evermore Senior Village will also participate
in the Earth Craft Communities and Earth Craft Multi-family programs. This will ensure that the property is
developed in a sustainable manner and will extend the useful life of the
development beyond what would be expected without the Earth Craft Communities
and Earth Craft Mulit-family program.
This will furthermore ensure that the residents of Evermore Senior
Village are afforded a more enjoyable and sustainable environment in which to
live.
EarthCraft Communities offers holistic approaches to
development for rural, suburban or urban projects. Through the EarthCraft
certification process, communities enhance their health, livability, efficiency
and overall market appeal. The EarthCraft Communities program addresses
low-impact development, site selection, land disturbance, water quality and
quantity management, energy, transportation infrastructure, community design,
green space preservation and more. In addition, all buildings within an
EarthCraft Community must be certified through the EarthCraft House,
Multifamily or Light Commercial programs. EarthCraft Communities program
administrators perform regular site visits, facilitate conceptual design
charrettes and provide each project green building trainings for residents,
property managers, builders and/or realtors.
Evermore Senior Village will be an asset not only to the
